One of the main objectives of ACASH is to provide marketing support to its member agencies. To achieve this, Office of Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India vide O M No 4/2/88/DCH/M&E, dated 29.4.1988, has appointed ACASH as a nodal agency for supplies for handloom items to Government of India Departments and Ministries under Single Tender System. Under this system, intending departments has to place their indent for handlooms items on ACASH either directly or through the Rate Contract of DGS&D, at the price determined by the officer of Chief Advisor (Cost), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Details of items and relevant BIS specifications are available in the O M No. 4/2/88/DCH/M&E, dated 29.4.1988. On receipt of order, ACASH arrange the supplies through its member organizations.
